When laying flat, the waist is about 18in wide and the material is very stretchy and can easily stretch much wider. The red color is very right and the polyester fake leather is much smoother, softer, and stretchier than I expected.I like the adjustable hook-and-eye closer on the back but I, personally, find the cup size to be a bit small. I generally wear a C cup, and the chest on this dress doesn't quite fit how I'd like it.
