14-Bone Embroidered Lace-Up Corset Top

I really wanted to love this, but the fit made it a bit tricky. I ordered a medium, and it was definitely too small on me. For reference, I’m 5’7” with a 28” waist, 38” hips, and a 35” bust, and it just didn’t have enough room to lace comfortably. The back only tightens so far, and it ended up looking like it didn’t fit properly, even though I’m not a larger size.The lacing itself is also a bit of a challenge. It’s ribbed and laced up with a ribbon like a true corset, which looks really pretty, but makes it harder to get on and off. It comes pre-tied in a way that’s supposed to help, but I still struggled pulling it over my shoulders, and it would get stuck since I couldn’t loosen it any further.Another thing to be aware of is how sheer it is. I expected some kind of backing behind the lace, but it’s actually just a fine mesh that’s completely see-through. It shows everything underneath, so you have to be very intentional with what you wear under it. In my photos, I’m wearing an off-white bandeau bra, and it’s fully visible.That said, the design itself is really cute and has a lot of potential if you can get the right fit. I would definitely recommend sizing up at least one size to make it more wearable.Overall, I gave this 4 stars because it’s visually really pretty, but the sizing runs small and the sheerness plus difficult fit make it less user-friendly than I expected. At $25, it’s still a decent piece if you size up and plan your outfit around it.

This corset is quite pretty and it seems to be of good quality, but it is a bit of a pain putting it on and taking it off.Unlike most corsets, this has no hooks. You have to pull it over then tighten it up. When you want to take it off, it's a bit of a mission as you have to loosen it then pull it over your head.One other thing to note is that it is see through, so you'll probably want something underneath for modesty.

I would not say this corset is top of the line, but it's made well enough for a few wears at least. It is a little see through, but it would work great over shirts or another bra. The ribbon is not the best but could be replaced if you wanted to jazz it up a bit, it is fine enough as is though.It has to be unlaced and go over your head to get it on which is a bit tricky, I found I had to undo the laces as far as they could go to get it on and even then it was a bit of a struggle. Tying it yourself is possible but it's much easier if someone helps you, it can be difficult to get the tightness and tension right in all areas.The boning is pretty efficient, and once tied it's hard to breathe and sit in, you could tie it slightly looser for more comfort but comfort is not necessarily the goal of this piece.The lace is pretty but the edging could have been better. There are some looser threads along the edges and it's easy to snag.For reference I am a size 4-6, 5'9 with a long torso, small (28") waist and 32 DD's that are relaxed but widely rooted with shallow projection and side/bottom full. I got the size small and it fit surprisingly well. It would do well for busts both smaller and larger than mine, the shape and ability to tighten it make it quite malleable size-wise.I washed it in a mesh delicates bag on the delicate cycle in my washing machine and hung it to dry, it went well and came out good as new.Overall, this corset is pretty and fits well for being on the affordable side. 24.99 is a decent value for cost and I am happy to have ordered it.
